Description
Hydration bag Altus 2,5L
To stay hydrated continuously is one of the main tasks on your Camino de Santiago. If you get dehydrated it can cause injuries, like muscle cramps, shin splints, joint pain and so on. It is not enough if you drink water on the Camino if you are thirsty, you have to drink more frequently. When you get tired you can easily forget to drink, or you will be too tired to take the water bottle out of the side pocket of your backpack.
The best solution to stay hydrated on the Camino is a camel bag (also known Camelbak hydration system) which is normally built in a backpack or waist pack containing a reservoir or “bladder” commonly made of rubber or flexible plastic. The camel bag is connected to a drinking tube. For walking on the Camino you only need a “naked” reservoir what you can take into your backpack with a long drinking tube. The big advantages of this system:
-it allows the wearer to drink hands-free.
-it is easy to reach, because the end of the tube is just hanging on your chest.
Recommended reservoir size range from 1 to 2.5 liters.
Main features of the Hydration bag Altus 2,5L:
– Special valve with blocking system
– Rubber cap
– Screwed plug
– Use between -20º and +50ºC
– No valid for alcoholic drinks, milk or juice.
